“Life is a balance of holding on and letting go.” - Rumi

Hi! I’m Michelle. Being the person that I am, I would much rather hear your story first, but that will have to wait for our time together.

Born and raised in the Midwest, to humble beginnings, I relocated to the Pacific Northwest after college. The mountains called, and finding them as a source of strength, and hope, I followed my heart’s call.

I have almost always worked in human services. Using my background and specialization in chemical dependency, eating disorders, and trauma survival, I’ve worked in both in and out patient services, day treatment programs, a therapeutic foster care treatment program, and even a large urban school district. Youth hold a special place in my heart- continually providing inspiration as they navigate this ever-increasing chaos filled world.

I found my calling while working as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, learning about disabilities and barriers to employment and the challenges faced, living in an unequal world. My current role includes securing contracts with state agencies as a job developer providing employment services for people with disabilities and people injured on the job. Most recently, I participated in an intensive education program with Dr. Claire Steffen of Choice Coaching College (Springfield, Oregon). I look forward to having a direct impact on your life plans, choices, and decisions while delivering excellent lifestyle and wellness coaching services.

I am grateful for the challenges I have experienced in my life and the support and assistance along the way which has helped to keep me balanced.

I want to hear about your story and life experiences and what brings you to coaching services.
